Toontrack Music originally started as a production company to develop the game and film music. In 1999, producer Thordendal of Meshuggah Fredrik and Mattias Eklund from Toontrack Music have decided to design a sample library for their own use. They called for a drummer Tomas Haake of Meshuggah Heavy Metal Band to record a drum sample. This library is called drums of hell.
